The first time I saw a bitmap image on a computer (it was the Mona Lisa on, you guessed it, a Mac) I was hooked. I realized there was a whole new world available to artists like me who were looking for a new way to marry their visual skills with this new way of sharing information. I've been doing GD since 128MB of RAM was an impressive number and continue to use my skills for major companies and small organizations all over the world.
